Newport Bathroom Renovation – Modern Upgrade for Zoe & David Wilton
QA Kitchens & Bathrooms recently completed a beautiful bathroom renovation in Newport for Zoe and David Wilton, transforming a very dated three-piece bathroom into a clean, modern and sleek space designed for everyday comfort and style.
The Project
The original bathroom was outdated and lacked both visual appeal and efficient use of space. Our goal was to create a bright, contemporary room with hidden pipework, high-quality finishes and a spacious walk-in shower.
To achieve this, we carried out a full redesign and structural improvement of the room.
To achieve this, we carried out a full redesign and structural improvement of the room.
What We Did
- Removed the existing bath and outdated fixtures
- Installed a modern shower tray with a fixed glass screen and flipper panel for a spacious showering area
- Moved the water pipework and created a stud wall to box in the soil pipe, ensuring all plumbing was hidden for a clean finish
- Installed a white gloss wall-hung basin unit, helping to maximise floor space and give the room a modern floating look
- Fully tiled the walls with Alexandria Cream 1200 × 600 tiles from 550 Interiors
- Installed Mystic Beige 600 × 600 floor tiles from Porcelanosa for a warm, contemporary feel
The Result
The finished bathroom is a bright, modern and highly functional space. Large format tiles create a seamless, luxurious look while the hidden pipework and wall-hung furniture keep the design sleek and uncluttered.
The new walk-in shower area provides practicality and comfort, turning what was once a dated room into a stylish bathroom that Zoe and David can enjoy for years to come.
