The project began with a major structural transformation. Two load-bearing walls were removed to create a bright and spacious open plan living area. To ensure safety and structural integrity, RSJs (Rolled Steel Joists) were installed, allowing the space to feel open while remaining fully supported.
This open plan layout now provides seamless flow between the kitchen, dining, and living areas – perfect for modern family life and entertaining.
Bespoke Slate Blue Kitchen with Aldana Doors
At the heart of the renovation is a traditional yet elegant bespoke kitchen featuring Slate Blue paint-to-order Aldana doors paired with a Natural Bardolino Oak carcass. The combination of soft blue tones and warm oak creates a timeless and inviting atmosphere.
Smart Storage & Hidden Utility Space
Sarah visited our Madeley showroom in Shropshire, where she met our designer Sophie. From the very beginning, Sarah wanted a bathroom that felt modern, elegant, and built to last.
This bespoke kitchen was designed with practicality in mind. Integrated storage solutions ensure everything has its place:
- Oak internal spice storage
- LeMans pull-out corner storage
- Concealed pull-out bin system
A hidden walkway was also created, leading from the kitchen into a discreet utility room. This space includes:
- A Belfast sink
- Hidden WC
- Enclosed boiler cupboard
These hidden features keep the main living space clutter-free while maximising usability.

Sliding Pocket Doors & Improved Flow
To enhance movement throughout the home, sliding pocket doors were installed. These doors create smooth transitions between rooms while saving space and maintaining clean sightlines.
New Windows, Doors & Patio Access
As part of the renovation for Sarah Priday’s home in Wellington, Telford, all external windows and doors were removed and replaced. Large patio doors were installed to connect the open plan living area with the garden, flooding the space with natural light and improving indoor-outdoor living.
Herringbone LVT Flooring
The entire ground floor was finished with a gluedown LVT herringbone floor in Old English Oak. This durable and stylish flooring adds warmth, character, and practicality, making it ideal for high-traffic family areas.
